Children and communities

Safety, support and opportunity.

We support a charitable children’s home near Lviv, which describes itself as a charitable organisation that operates a social and creative space dedicated to the recovery and support of children who have been evacuated, traumatised by the war, are experiencing difficult life circumstances, or are otherwise vulnerable.

The charitable organisation also provides care and support for children living in temporary shelters and residential institutions.

Since 2022, the children’s home has supported more than 700 children.

At one recent gathering, there were more than 300 children from the local community and other communities. The children’s home supports children staying in shelters who were evacuated from combat zones by parents or guardians, and also helps children from families facing difficult circumstances.

Recovery and belonging

Community gatherings, play, creativity and everyday stability help children feel safe, connected and valued.

Playgrounds from Islington Council

We delivered playground equipment donated by Islington Council to the children’s home. The equipment is being cleaned, refurbished and repainted before installation, giving it a second life and helping create a safe, welcoming space for play and recreation.
